Paul was not content with his present spiritual maturity.

Along with Scripture’s exhortations to give of our firstfruits and to give cheerfully, wisely, and faithfully, Scripture also calls God’s people to give generously.

It is easy to carry on a church practice merely due to tradition instead of being driven by clear biblical principles and spiritual intentionality.

Asking someone the question, “How are you doing spiritually?” really isn’t the best way to find out how they are doing spiritually.
