What the Bible Says About Israel: Past, Present, and Future

by Editors

Dear Readers,

Over the last four days, due to the recent Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel, we’ve seen a significant uptick in views for our article, “Who are the Palestinians, Part 1.” You can read part 2 here. These two articles were adapted from Cliff McManis’ book, What the Bible Says About Israel: Past, Present, and Future. This book explains Israel’s origin as a nation, God’s promises to Israel, the nature of the Promised Land, Israel’s relation to the Palestinians, and Israel’s future. The book also articulates how Christians should think about present-day Jews and the nation of Israel.

In light of recent events and the need for theological and moral clarity on the situation unfolding in Israel, we encourage you to check out Cliff’s book. You can read it in a PDF version for free, or you can purchase a physical copy on Amazon.

We pray that this book will help you grow in your love for the Jews as you better understand who they are and why Israel is dear to God.
